Blog Post #1: Cultural Diet
I am a college student who is studying animation. My cultural diet I consume everyday is drawing traditional art, watching art and cooking tutorials on YouTube, collecting figures from popular movies, and reading fantasy fiction novels. Throughout my four years of college, I have taken art classes as part of my journey in becoming an animator someday. I've watched stunning animations with wonderful characters, incredible storytelling, and inspirational messages that I admire. These amazing stories by wonderful artists and writers is what inspired me to develop an interest in writing fictional stories and produce an animation of a folktale I want to create. On my free time I read fantasy novels including the mortal instruments series, the Trylle trilogy and the Kanin Chronicles. Other activities I've done daily is drawing art in my sketchbook where I sketch random characters I could think of. It is one of my main hobbies I love to do everyday to improve my skills. Sometimes
